Johannes Kolter, better known by his artist name Kolter, is a DJ, house music producer and label owner from Cologne, Germany, widely regarded as one of the most influential names in today's underground house music scene.

Renowned for his distinctive blend of minimal house, deep house, tech house, and breakbeat influences, Kolter has built a reputation for producing unique, groove-driven electronic music that has become a favourite among DJs, vinyl collectors, and house music fans around the world.

Before adapting the Kolter name, he released music under the alias DJOKO, a project that helped establish his reputation within the European underground electronic music community.

In addition to Kolter, Johannes has released music under several aliases, including H.K., J.K. Rollin, Hatori Hanso, Stussko, Janeko, Steawko, Lowdi, and Funkmodul, with each alias allowing him to explore different sounds and creative directions while showcasing his versatility as a producer.

Alongside, his solo career, Kolter co-founded the respected HOOVE label and later launched Koltrax, creating platforms for both his own releases and forward thinking underground house music.
