Essential Releases from Our Spotlighted Artists

Kolter: Come On Back With Your Love, Low Rider, Higher Grounds (Fame Mix)

These are some of my favourite Kolter tracks because they really show just how creative and strong his sampling game is within modern underground house music. Come On Back With Your Love (PIV Records) is amazing because of how he flips soulful, almost nostalgic vocals and musical samples into a rolling, groove heavy house track that feels both timeless and club-ready. Lowrider (on his alias Hatori Hanso) is another standout track, as the subtle chopped samples and deep, hypnotic rhythms build a minimal but incredibly effective groove that locks you in from start to finish. Higher Grounds (Fame Mix) which is available on Kolter's Soundcloud, is a another great track, taking familiar musical ideas and reworking them into something fresh and DJ focused, with a great disco feel that works perfectly in a set

Jhobei: Slink N' Slide, Pumba, R U Listening (Sweely Remix)

For anyone discovering Jhobei's catalogue, Pumba (Up The Stuss), R U Listening (Sweely Remix), and Slink N' Slide (Up The Stuss) are three essential tracks that perfectly showcase his signature groove-driven house music style. These records blend rolling basslines, hypnotic rhythms, and refined minimal house production, whilst Sweely's remix of R U Listening adds warm analogue textures and a funk infused groove to the already amazing original. Together, these releases highlight why Jhobei has become one of London's most exciting underground house music producers, with a distinctive sound that continues to resonate across the modern house and minimal house scene.

M-High: Nite Life (M-High remix), Soulseeker, Ridin' Hi

For anyone who hasn't come across these brilliant tracks, Nite life (M-High Remix) is a standout track of M-high's as he transforms the original into a deeper, more driving house track, using warm textures, tight percussion, and a flowing groove that feels perfect for late night sets. Soulseeker (BERG Audio) is another great track as it shows his more atmospheric side, building a smooth, evolving journey with subtle melodic layers and a deep, rolling low end that gives the track so much energy. Ridin' Hi (Koltrax) is also a key track, with crisp drums and engaging synths, this track really showcases M-Highs unique take on modern house music.
